Little Facilities Popping Up
New Pickleball Courts Next to Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino to Break Ground
A new entertainment venue will be breaking ground next month at 420 Sunland Park Drive and is expected to be completed within 14 - 18 months. Called Independent Nation, it will have four indoor pickleball courts plus two outdoor courts, and will also provide a concert venue, restaurants, and a dispensary.
Rio Grande Winery Pouring More Than Wine
This winery is located on highway 28 very close to Las Cruces, at 5321 NM-28, Las Cruces, NM 88005. They have poured cement for two courts (not lined yet) with two more on tap, so to speak. They open at 2PM weekdays and noon on the weekend, closed on Mondays. Could be a fun excursion with friends ... (they serve beer too)
