Congratulations to Ben Avalos, our VP and Pickleball Ambassador. He is the newest member of the City Parks and Recreation Board – we now have representation for our sport!
And welcome to our newest Pickleball El Paso Board member, Franklin Stubbs Lebaron. His passion for the game and experience in construction will be great assets in our quest for courts.

If you have not yet joined the club, please find an officer and sign up. This club was formed to represent you, the pickleball community here in El Paso, and all work is done by volunteers. Your $15 annual dues are being used for operating expenses.

Facilities update
The County is getting cost estimates to resurface a dilapidated tennis court at Ascarate Park and convert it into four permanent, dedicated pickleball courts, with permanent nets and contrasting kitchens! This could be the first dedicated PB facility in El Paso. Thank you to Veronica Myers, Director of Parks for El Paso County, for working with us on this endeavor!

Pre-orders can be placed with any officer for the low, low price of $15 for members, and $20 non-members (another reason to join.) We will take orders until February 24. Once the order is placed, shirts will not be available until the next order campaign (we have minimums to meet) so order your shirt before February 24!
