City Council Presentation - Be There! Be Heard!

It is time to remind City Council what we want - a facility! A real, dedicated pickleball facility!

On the Bond surveys we completed in March and April, a rocking 61 players wrote in comments about wanting a facility. This information was not presented to City Council.

We will do it.

Come to City Council at noon, July 19 (Tuesday). Wear your shirt, show them we are still here and we want courts! Several players are going to present a coordinated list of facts at Call to the Public, an opportunity to speak directly to the entire council for three minutes each. We need players to fill the auditorium! Parks and Rec has been putting down lines on tennis courts, and that helps our working players BUT it is not the end-game, and we need to let them know.

City Council will not be impressed by a handful of people. So be there! An event has been created on the club website - please RSVP here. Getting a head-count is helpful as many of our working players will not be able to come.

Mary Francis Keisling Park Tabling event - go promote!

This park is near Upper Valley Dr. and Gomez, so if you live in the valley, this opportunity is yours. Master Plans are being developed. I have told them we want permanent pickleball courts, BUT I am only one person - we need many more players to go tell them in person.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 9, from 10:00 to 12:00 at Mary Francis Keisling.

YMCA Group on Snow Rd Looking For More Players
