Nolan Richardson Rec Center Ribbon Cutting Wednesday, July 19

This renovation project has been a long one. Join us in northeast, at 4435 Maxwell (near Hondo Pass - address on this flyer is wrong) at noon to celebrate the ribbon cutting. Pickleball hours are on the Where to Play tab on the website.
Ben will be holding his First Friday of the Month Beginner's Clinics at Nolan beginning August 5, 9:00 AM.
Look What the City Did!
Who remembers the clinic we did at Biggs Field last year? Their massive outdoor pavilion had rafter spikes EVERYWHERE. PEPA approached the city 18 months ago about the health hazard of the pigeon droppings at outdoor Chamizal, not just for us but also

the kids playing basketball and futsal. Balls would roll into droppings, then it was on your hands, to your phone and paddle. Playing after the gym was closed was the worst because there was no place to wash your hands. This is a great improvement.
Thank you Ms. Dionne Mack and City of El Paso Street Maintenance Department!

Wounded Warrior Clinic a Fun Time for Everyone

On Saturday, July 15, PEPA hosted a clinic for 20 veterans at Chamizal outdoor - good times, good times. Thank you Outreach Specialist Lia Heatherton for contacting us and buying lunch!

A shout out to our organizers Sandy McDermott and Ben Avalos, and to our volunteer coaches: Raul Hernandez, Kelly Groves, Terry Avalos, Jamie Fisher, Denis Tramontana, Santa Gamez, Paola, Darnell Applewhite and Tyron Kim.
